Extended Day Program (EDP)

Quality after school care is available for the students of St. Francis and their working parents. The EDP Program takes place in the new EDP classroom next to the gym, in the gymnasium, and on the playground. Our program is licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS).

The EDP program is designed to offer your child a safe, secure place to be on a regular basis when school is not in session. Parents are free to work, study, or pursue other interests because they know their child is being cared for by a competent and caring staff. The health and well-being of your children are of primary importance to us. Our activities and equipment are chosen with safety in mind.

Except for routine periods of time, children are free to choose from a variety of age related, interesting, and developmentally appropriate activities and equipment.

After the structure of the school day, children need some time to relax, stretch their minds and their bodies, and explore their own interests. The EDP Program offers your child the opportunity to enrich what happens in school, to develop interests and relationships beyond their regular classroom mix, to venture out into new areas, or to just curl up with a good book or a favorite toy. 

Hours of Operation

On school days, Monday through Friday, School Dismissal – 6:00 pm

Registration

Complete the registration form and return it by email. 

Program Fees and Payment

$15 per day or $65 per week due on the first day of childcare for the week.

Payment Options:

  • Venmo APP: @Julia-Graves-2
  • Check: Send weekly check in an envelope with the following info:
    • Child’s Name
    • Days they will attend EDP that week
    • Date of Payment
    • Amount Enclosed

Please note:

  • If payment is not received by Friday, a late fee of $5 will be added to your next payment for each unpaid week.
  • If you are more than 2 weeks behind in payment, you child(ren) will not be permitted to attend.
  • If you have an outstanding balance from a previous school year, your child(ren) will not be permitted to attend until the balance is paid in full.
  • No credits are given for missed days.
  • If you have shared parenting, please work out between yourselves who is responsible for paying for each day.
